Innovative tile concept with elegant surface finish and trompe-l’oeil décor

Contemporary interior design often relies on metal and concrete to create extravagant, minimalist atmospheres. The METALYN range adapts the effects of these two typical materials to create a look that is new to ceramics: With an elegant surface finish and an exclusive décor concept, the design interprets a symbiosis of urban concrete and machined metal in vilbostone porcelain stoneware.

The basic tiles made of vilbostone porcelain stoneware are available in six harmoniously coordinated colours, for use in creating expressive designs for walls and floors. The anodised-looking finishes create stunning surfaces with a gentle metallic charm – in monochrome or in colour combinations.

The highlight of METALYN is the multicoloured décor tile made of glazed vilbostone porcelain stoneware, which can be laid as a strip, as an accent or for full-surface installation. The sophisticated geometric pattern of fine, rust-coloured diamonds and cubes possesses a surprising trompe-l’oeil effect that presents each viewer with different and ever-new, three-dimensional shapes, depending on the incidence of light, the point of view and the mood. A slightly ‘used’ look adds to the special appeal of the décor. For further individual décors, there is a cut décor with a linear striped structure as well as mosaics, which are also perfect for use in functional, floor-flush showers.
